Repair a torn seam
Did you rip a seam and need to fix it right away? It’s easier than it sounds – all you need is scissors, a needle, and thread. Let’s try it out together.
1. Turn the damaged garment inside out.
2. Place both sides of the fabric on top of each other so their edges align.
3. Thread a needle, make a tight knot at the end of the thread, and pull it through the fabric until the knot sits at one side.
4. Stitch under and over both layers until you sew up the hole.
5. Make a tight knot to secure everything.
6. Cut off the remaining thread with scissors.
As easy as 1, 2, 3.
